Toddler Programs

Shh! We are Learning...to Learn! As your toddler begins to develop their own friendships, self-esteem and sense of wonder for the world our Toddler Program provides them with a safe and nurturing environment in which they can grow at
their own pace.

Esperanza School’s Toddler Program proudly celebrates your child’s distinctive personality and sense of independence. We accomplish this by offering a unique curriculum based on the Piaget philosophy which embraces knowledge through experience. Your child will enjoy a variety of fun and exciting activities every day that will help to develop his or her skills, sense of identity and confidence. If you are interested in taking a tour of our beautiful facility or have any questions about enrollment, please contact our Admissions Coordinator, Ms. Marisol.

Description of Location & Daily Schedule

Our toddler classrooms are located in the Purple Wing of the Esperanza School property. Each toddler room is unique and designed to stimulate all of the senses with unique specialized centers focusing on different areas of learning such as creative play, art, math, science and language. Our trained teachers and staff provide each room with a friendly, home-like feel by adding comfortable and quiet areas as well as areas that allow your child to use their imagination to the farthest limits. When the weather permits, all of our toddler classrooms take time to explore the gardens and playgrounds outside. Our gardens feature beautiful waterfalls and life-like animal figures, while our playgrounds offer exciting adventures ranging from a “wild ride” on a pirate ship to a “dangerous” trek through the jungle.

At Esperanza School, we recognize that toddlers need a consistent schedule to provide a sense of comfort and stability. We supply this need for your child by following a schedule each day which involves circle time in the mornings to start the day, snack and lunch time, outside play, music, art and an introduction to other basic concepts such as math or science. If there are any special circumstances concerning your child's care, communication with your child's teacher and our administration will ensure that your child will receive the best care to your specifications.
